ABOUT THE COVER
The DILG R1 remains committed in “Sustaining Good
Governance and Intensifying the Campaign Against
Criminality and Illegal Drugs.” This is the theme and
cornerstone of our 2016 Annual Report. It is our
responsibility and adherence to become vanguards for
change and sustainable development.
The cover exhibits two major parts namely: the
branding colors of the department represented by the
colors red, yellow, and blue; and a sketched image
of children enjoying the water flowing from a newly
constructed water supply system symbolizing the hope
of every citizen for the betterment of their lives.
With our passion to serve through our willingess to find
new ways in getting things done further reinforced
by honesty and loyalty to the general public, the DILG
R1 aims to become a catalyst of change in promoting
a peaceful, progressive, and resilient communities that
will eventually lead to our aspiration of having a society
where people live happily.
