DILG - Bagulin spearheads CoINCIDe reorganized;

reorganization of BANGO Mayor Sales, new CMB Chair

Burgos, Ilocos Norte – The Coastal Towns In The North
Clustered for Integrated Development or CoINCIDe,
with four (4) member-LGUs namely Pasuquin, Burgos,
Bangui and Pagudpud, held a meeting on September
27, 2013 in Burgos, Ilocos Norte. The agenda was
to reorganize the Cluster Management Board (CMB)
and the different working groups of the Alliance.

As a result of the restructuring and election of
officers, the CoINCIDE is now managed by the following:
Hon. Marlon Sales - Chairman
Municipality of Pagudpud
Hon. Crescente Garcia - Vice-Chairman
Municipality of Burgos
Hon. Felix Aguinaldo Jr. - Secretary
Municipality of Pasuquin

Hon. Diosdado Garvida - Treasurer
Municipality of Bangui

During the said activity, the CoINCIDE Local
Tourism Action Plan was presented by Mr. Rogel
Alupay, Municipal Planning and Development
Coordinator of Bangui. The Plan was an output
from the Local Economic Development (LED) series
workshops attended by the Cluster Technical
Working Group.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government The DILG Ilocos Norte OIC-Provincial Director, Roger
with the Municipal Government of Bagulin, federated the P. Daquioag, emphasized that the Department
Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the said municipality. is always ready to assist and support the

The activity aims to strengthen CSO participation in
local governance and development process in Bagulin. Advisers

discussed the provisions of the Local Government Code Editor-in-Chief
on NGO participation in Local Special Bodies and LGOO VI / HEA LILY ANN O. COLISAO
DILG Memorandum Circular 2013-70.
