CapDev Interventions

In keeping with its commitment to ensure implementation and completion of the locally-funded
projects, the DILG R1 conducted the following activities:

Workshop on the Implementation of the DILG
Locally-Funded Projects on May 25-27, 2016 at the Regency
Hotel, Calasiao, Pangasinan.

Seminar-Workshop on Construction Supervision and Management
for 2015 BUB-Water Programs on September 6-9, 2016 at the Rivermount
Hotel and Resort, Sarrat, Ilocos Norte.

The Workshop on the Implementation of Locally- Funded Projects was aimed in enhancing the skills of the
LGU-participants on the preparation of documentary requirements for the release of funds.

Participants of the Seminar- Workshop on Construction Supervision and Management, on the other hand,
were briefed on the key policies, consideration, requirements and procedures involved in supervising the
construction of Level II and Level III waterworks facilities. It was also intended to inform participants on the
financial aspects of the program such as fund utilization, mechanisms for fund release, liquidation and
reporting.
