Local Investments and Incentives Code

Ninety-eight (98) LGUs with 429 participants composed of City/Municipal Planning
and Development Coordinators, Local Economic and Investment Promotions Officers,
Secretary to Local Sanggunians, City/Municipal Treasurers, and other LGU
staff/personnel attended the three (3) batches of the “Orientation Workshop
on the Formulation and Updating of the Local Investments and Incentives Code
(LIIC)” held last April 17-19, 2013 (Batch 1), April 22-24, 2013 (Batch 2),
and May 28-30, 2013 (Batch 3) at Hotel Supreme (Batch 1 & 2) and Pines View Hotel (Batch
3), all in Baguio City.

The Orientation Workshop on LIIC Formulation was conducted in partnership with the
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region I and the League of
Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Provincial Chapters. It aimed to equip LGU
participants on the basic / salient features of LIIC formulation and updating.
Continuous Technical Assistance (TA) is being provided to the following
participants of the three-batch training:
