Performing Province in the Regional Development
Council (RDC) - DILG Local Government Units’
(LGUs) Awards based on the Local Governance
Performance Management System (LGPMS). The
awarding was conducted at Hotel Ariana,
Bauang, La Union.
Vice-Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim
Jr. who represented Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr.
received the award. Also present
were Provincial Administrator Rafael F.
Baraan and Provincial Planning and Development
Coordinator (PPDC) Benita Pizzaro.
On its 5th year of implementa on,
the Search for Best Performing LGUs based
on LGPMS was ins tu onalized by the RDC in
partnership with the DILG to
recognize the exemplary performance of Vice-Governor Jose Ferdinand Calimlim Jr. receives the award for
LGUs in the various areas of local governance. Pangasinan as 2009 Best Performing Province based on the DILG’s
Local Governance Performance Management System
The LGPMS is one of the
management tools used to assess the IN Barangay Officials Attend
